Welcome to Beginners Guide to Investing. Often misinterpreted, Investing can be complicated, but it doesn't have to be. We'll try to make a bit easier for you at beginners-guide-to-investing.com.

We see too many tv commercials, read too many books and receive countless e-mails regarding investing and financial freedom. But, are we much smarter than before? Do you understand investing anymore than yesterday? It's probably more confusing because we don't know who to believe or just what information is right or wrong? One thing is for sure, don't believe everything you hear on tv or what the governments tells you.

This site won't go into to much detail about finance and investing. This is a easy to read guide that will help you understand basic financial products and services. Questions like, What is a stock? What is a 401(K) plan? What is Online Investing? And so on.

First, I want to say that I am not a financial planner nor do I have a degree in economics or finance. I am just a guy who has passion for investing. I like to share and teach people of all ages and backgrounds the basic fundamentals about investing. I want to provide simple explanations and definitions of investing words and acronyms, what it all means to you and your family. In today's economic times we need to readjust our thinking and start saving. We must prepare and take care of business at home before one can start investing in the markets. The most important place to start is probably The Federal Reserve page. Here, I embedded a 5 part video series from author G. Edward Griffin. You need to start here and move throughout the site. This 5 part series in the foundation of a successful investor. I guaranty that you will be shocked and amazed to learn what Mr. Griffin has to say.

I am sure you'll find this site to be informative and entertaining. I hope as you click and read throughout the site that it will answer a lot of basic questions. You will come to understand a little more about the world of investing and finance that you never knew before. We will try to educate and guide you through the basics. Enjoy the journey and please continue your financial education, your future as well as your family's depend on it. Your education doesn't end here so please keep informed at all times and don't believe everything the government or the media tells you, especially now during these difficult times. I decided to add a few videos to my site because we are in a crisis. I don't have to tell you, but most of us are still asleep. Everyday we're hearing more and more about thousands of jobs being lost. Please watch these videos as they explain the true function of our government. Before investing in the markets, make sure your house is in order. Get out of debt and then decide how you can safely enter the markets. However, at the present time I would just save some cash and keep it handy. Use common sense and you'll start to open your eyes and realize what is really going on. Someone once said that all it takes to be wealthy is four basic components, they are: discipline, hard work, capital appreciation (earning interest on your investment) and no debt. That's it! invest and keep things simple and you'll see yourself becoming a millionaire in no time, but you need to start early. Debt is the enemy, the disease. Debt is what got so many banks in trouble and it can easily destroy you as well. But, Banks get the bailout, you won't and guess who pays for it? You!

Currently the United States has a negative savings rate. That means that we as a nation are not savings enough and we're spending more than what we earn. However, that has begun to change lately. The Chinese are saving approximately 40% of their paycheck. We need to get back to basics before it's too late. Everything that has been purchased in the last five or so years has been on credit. Credit has to be paid back with interest. Do not get suckered into credit card debt or any debt for that matter. Search youtube for these investors to learn more.
