Economic Crisis

Hello everyone,

If you are new to this site, please read this page first before you browse through the rest of the site.

Perhaps you are a beginner investor or just someone simply looking for answers during these tough times. Or, are you an investor with a few years of experience? In either case you probably lost money or are losing money every single day. Whatever the case, please read the information below since I strongly believe this is the best investment advice I can give you right now.

PREPARE yourself and your family right now. Try as hard as you can to store away some money and supplies, things you need on daily basis. I'm not a doom and gloom kind of guy but things are getting bad out there. Shopping has become very expensive and it’s only getting worse. You may see certain things go down in price, but trust me it won't last. So the best investment one can make at this time is buy stuff you need. Stock up on foods that are non-perishable, cans of tuna fish, beans, rice, soups, toilet paper, shampoo, toothpaste, soaps, laundry detergent, water, powdered milk, etc. Search the web for sites that talk and teach about urban survival. One of my favorite places is www.YouTube.com. Search and watch a few of the videos there and jot down a few notes, please.

I say buy stuff because it isn’t going to get any cheaper to buy it in the future. If we continue down this path, who knows what the future will bring. It's better to be prepared and to safely have food and other supplies for a couple of weeks or months. This is no joke, I don't mean to scare you, but please buy a few things and keep them stored in a safe place. Keep some cash in safe place as well, a few hundreds dollars if necessary. I would not keep more money that I need to cover expenses in my local bank. If you have excess cash then withdraw it and keep it safe somewhere in your home.

Also buy gold and silver coins at a local coin shop just to have in case something happens with the banks. Buy clothes and shoes to have for the winter and perhaps next summer for your kids. Make a list and check it twice. Hey, it won’t go bad and you’ll save money no matter how you look at it.

I would also try to spend less and pay off any credit cards you have. Start off by paying your high interest credit cards first. Try to eliminate debt at all costs. If you have a few dollars to spare and are unsure what to do with it, I say pay off any debts you have. Preserving your money will be important in the next few months and perhaps years. Please don’t take this wrong, but as the saying goes, “did you plan to fail or did you fail to plan”. If you don’t have the money to buy something in cash then simply do not buy it. Do not put anything on your credit card. Now is not the time to increase your debts. Our economy in the US is 75% consumer driven. However, no one is buying anything. This past Christmas was the worst for retail stores. So many stores are going out of business. Let’s simplify our lives and cut back wherever we can.

Again, I’m not trying to scare anyone, but please go out and buy lots of canned foods, pasta, sauces, water, anything you can possibility think of that you will need in case things get a little rough out there. I’ll be updating my site with more information soon, but I thought this is important information to get out there now so make your list and go shopping.

To put in all in perspective, please check out this link for Retail Store Closing. You will then get an idea of how serious this situation is.

I wish everyone the best of luck and please prepare yourself and your family. Again, please do not panic this is not an emergency, but just start storing some goods and fast.
